This was our first time to excavate at the Gault Site located near Florence, Texas.  Margaret and I drove and shared a rented house in Georgetown with some other diggers.  We helped sponsor five students from the University of Exeter (UK), and had a chance to visit with and work for Bruce Bradley for the first time since the Ballyarnet (Northern Ireland) dig in 2004.  For more information on the Gault site, click here.  (I manually geotagged the photos this time, two places in Texas.)

On our free day, Margaret and I went to “Inner Space Cavern”, which was found during I-35 construction in 1963.
